Click on the button Request license.

Fill in the next form in all its parts, then click Send Request.

After submitting the request, you will receive the key of the new license on the specified e-mail address.
Open your mailbox, copy the license key, past it in the specific field, then click Install License.
The system will confirm the installation of the license.

Repeat the process on all Standard or Enterprise workstations that you want to activate.

If you plan to use SellRapido on more workstations to work with the same accounts on the same data, you need to install the Enterprise version on the Data Server station, and the Standard version on each station that you want to connect to the Data Server.

If you already installed a "Standard" version on the station that you want to use as Data Server, you must uninstall it using the appropriate option in the Windows Control Panel.

See Multi Station Setup help for more instructions.

SellRapido's Updates are completely Automatic.

You should always update the software in order to apply changes and get the new available features.

If an update is available, the application will launch the following message: select "Yes" to start the download and installation.

Some antivirus and firewalls could detect a suspicious activity, and return alert messages asking whether or not you want to download the update. you need to allow this operation, otherwise the procedure will end without success.

In the Software Update window, where you can also read the release details, you can check the progress of the download and installation.

Upon completion of these operations, you will see an update confirmation message.

The software version can be checked on the window bar..

Eg.: "SellRapido Standard (or Enterprise) v.0.....".

If errors occur during download/installation you can update the software manually, following these steps:

  • copy the update file link, located in Software Update window;
  • paste the link on your browser and download the file on your PC;
  • run the file (.exe) downloaded: you will be prompted to save the data in a folder; choose the folder where the program client is installed and click "Extract";
  • confirm the replacement of files in the destination folder.
This way the software has been updated.

Follow these steps to restore SellRapido functioning:

  • open SellRapido folder (eg. "C:/Program Files/SellRapido/"), past a shortcut on the desktop of the AIGClient.exe file;
  • right click on the new icon -> Properties -> in the "Target" field append, after ", a space followed by
    default_db=SqlServer
    so that the path appears like
    "C:/Program Files (x86)/SellRapido/AIGClient.exe" default_db=SqlServer
Then start SellRapido using the newly created shortcut.

After booting the PC, before executing SellRapido wait a few minutes, so that all components are started and the database connection error will not occur.

If it still does not connect:

  • open the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services -> search SQl Server (SQL Express)
  • if the service is not started, right click and choose "Start"

See Unable to find any database management system to connect to help.

Selling on marketplaces

To work on Ebay with SellRapido you must register a Ebay Shop. In the absence of this requirement, or if this requirement is changed, SellRapido will not update the eBay inventory.

To sell on Amazon with SellRapido services you need to register as a Professional seller.

To upgrade your Amazon account to Professional, sign in to Amazon, then use the menu Settings - Account info (or click on this link https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/on-board/configuration/index.html/ref=id_onconfig_cont_acctinfo) and in Your Services click on Manage / Upgrade button, then follow the instructions.

To sell on Amazon with SellRapido services you need to register as a Professional seller..

To check if your Amazon account meets this requirement, sign in to Amazon, then use the menu Settings - Account info (or click on this link https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/on-board/configuration/index.html/ref=id_onconfig_cont_acctinfo). Your Services / Sell On Amazon section has to be Professional seller.

If "Individual", your account is not enabled. Then you need to upgrade the account to Professional seller.

Yes.

For information on subscription fees and Amazon sales charges, please refer to Amazon online documentation.

Yes.

You can publish many lists you want on Amazon, Ebay, Eprice, etc.

Not directly. On Amazon you only need a Professional seller account to be able to sell in any country.

About SellRapido's service costs, refer to the online documentation on our website.

To sell in other countries is not required any particular activity on Ebay/Amazon, if you already have an Ebay Store/Professional seller account.

When you want to add a catalog on SellRapido, you must select the Ebay/Amazon country in the MarketPlace destination list and the catalog you want from the catalogs list.

Standard catalog import

Activating a DEMO subscription, you can publish Ingram catalog (up to 100 listings).

To activate more standard catalogs, contact our staff.

Consult the Dropshipping suppliers list at this link:

https://www.sellrapido.com/en/interno-dropship.php

To import a catalog and start publishing products on a marketplace, you must first connect your marketplace account to SellRapido.

To add a new catalog:

  • enter in Catalogs Management tab, using the button More functions >> / Catalogs
  • click the button Add Catalog, and select a catalog from the existing ones
  • enter a label for the catalog and notes, if necessary
  • choose the target marketplace among those proposed and the account where you want to publish the catalog

The catalog is now active.

From Catalogs Management tab, select the catalog you want to delete and click the Delete Catalog button.

If there are active products for that catalog, you need to first close all listings.

The catalog is in the status "PROCESS HERE=NO" because you connected to SellRapido from a different workstation, and each catalog can only be processed on one machine.

For each row you need to press the button in the "Process here" column (now set to "NO").

This way, it will change to "YES" and the catalog will be processed on that workstation.

Note: this problem can occur even if you connect to the PC an external hard disk/SD card, recognized as "workstations".

Custom catalog import

File FORMAT: .csv, .txt are the most widely-used.

For different formats, please contact our staff, who will pre-process the file.

FIELD SEPARATOR: ";", "|" are the most widely-used.

REQUIRED FIELDS:

to publish on Ebay:

  • SKU code (univocal)
  • Price
  • Quantity
  • Categories (at least 1 category is recommended)
  • Title
  • Description
  • Image Url

o publish on Amazon:

  • SKU code (univocal)

To add a new catalog enter in Catalogs Management tab, using the button More functions >> / Catalogs.

Click the button Add Catalog, and select a catalog from the existing ones.
enter a label for the catalog and notes, if necessary.

This will open a window where you can set the source of the catalog's data.

– If the file is on the computer on which you are working, select the file. Will always be uses the path you set.

– If the file is located remotely, and must be downloaded from the network, type the full url. If necessary, enter the access data (username and password).

Choose the character encoding of the file: ASCII will be used if not specified.

After you add your catalog to SellRapido, you will be prompted to define a field map.

In this step is important to:
– choose a field separator (Field Separator string; if you use the tab, check Tab box);
– if the first row of the list contains the field headings, skip the first line by typing 1 in Skip the first n. rows box.

Reload the map to show the fields available for import, using the Reload map button.

Select in Destination Field records the fields to link, choosing from the drop down menu.

Click Ok to confirm.

Note: to publish on Amazon, the EAN field IS REQUIRED in your catalog and has to be correctly mapped.

From Catalogs Management tab, select the catalog you want to delete and click the Delete Catalog button.

If there are active products for that catalog, you need to first close all listings.

Yes, you need to add a field to your catalog, describing the condition of the items sold..
The field used for this purpose is called "Item condition".

This field can contain the values:

NN or empty: new
UU: used

In addition, you can also include a "condition description".

To handle different used conditions you must valorize the "eBay Category" field with the following format strings:

IT:ebay_category_code:ebay_condition_code

so, for example

IT:22562543:1500

where 1500 stands for "new and unused." The eBay codes of "used" variations can be found at this link: http://developer.ebay.com/Devzone/finding/CallRef/Enums/conditionIdList.html

The eBay category code can be omitted. In that case the one in categories map will be used (e.g.: IT::1500).

Each product can have any number of variants that are encoded in a single field "variants".

See Variants help to properly set the variants field.

Settings: Markups, VAT, Fees, Shipping costs and times

Before importing products and publish them on the marketplace, it is important to manage prices, shipments, and payment settings. .

These settings have to be managed for each marketplace and configured catalog. If not editable, it means that you can not manage them for that specific marketplace.

Click Settings button in Pre-sales window.

In Prices tab you can manage various settings related to the products' price, like VAT application, fees added to the list price, the percentage or fixed mark-up.

Below you find the various options that can be activated from this panel:

– Add VAT to the list price: enter the VAT percentage, if applicable.

– Add Marketplace Fees: these fees are calculated based on marketplace categories.

– Add any PayPal Fees: if you made available to the buyer the payment via PayPal, we suggest you to use this option to add to the price the PayPal commission.
Then choose the PayPal Tier, depending on the monetary amount of your sales.

– Rounding price: use this option to round prices to decimal numbers/unit.

– Accept offers: use this field to allow the buyer to make purchase offers. Ebay will send an e-mail to the seller for each offer made.

– Add % Markup: enter a percentage mark-up that will be added to the list price.

– Add Markup: enter a fixed mark-up that will be added to the list price.

Note: the various parameters are applied in the following order:
% markup -> markup -> VAT -> (shipping costs) -> marketplace fees -> Paypal fees

To see the final price of the products you are going to publish to the marketplace (once imported in SellRapido) in the Pre-Sales window there is a button that allows you to simulate the price (in the Simulate column, click the button of the product you want to simulate the price).

This will open a window showing the calculations, the final price of the product and other more useful information.

To manage prices by Categories or Price range, use the box at the bottom of Settings -> Prices tab.
Click Add to create a new rule.

Set the conditions, and then click on the button in the Features column: it will open a window where you can set the changes to the price.
For every product will be applied the first rule matching the criteria.

You can use settings by category only if the published catalog supports the category field.

There is not a fixed rule. Each seller choose their own markup percentage. We recommend you to take as a reference:

  • for Amazon, the "best price" column in Amazon inventory, which lists the best offers on Amazon, make your considerations, then eventually change the price mark-ups;
  • fo Ebay, check the prices of similar products published by other sellers.

In the Shipping tab, you can manage various settings of shipping costs for products you want to publish on the marketplace and the days needed for shipping/delivery.

You can set different shipping methods (up to 6). Check the box Enable this shipping method for each method you want to be active and visible on the marketplace.

Below you find the various options that can be activated from this panel:

– Shipping Costs taken from the Catalog: imported from the catalog, if available.

– Fixed Shipping Costs: in this case you have to value the Fee box, next to Method.

– Percentage Shipping Costs: enter the percentage in Fee (%) box next to Method; in this case the calculation will be performed according to the entered percentage.

– Method: choose from the drop-down menu the method by which the shipment will be carried out (Courier, Mail, etc.).

– Insurance: if you want to make available an insurance on products, choose the type of insurance from the drop-down menu and enter the cost in the Fee box.

– Additional item fee: enter the cost to be applied to each additional item purchased. The application uses the default value of 0 (no cost); if you do not want to send for free the purchased items in addition to the first, change this setting entering a value.

– Shipping costs included in Price: use this function to include the shipping costs into the product price.

– Days to prepare shipping: choose the number of days needed to prepare the shipment.

– From catalog: check this box if you want to import the days required for shipping from the catalog.

Note: unlike eBay, for listings published on Amazon and ePRICE the shipping costs are always included in price.
For this reason in the Shipping tab of catalog settings, the Shipping costs included in Price option cannot be changed.
You need to set the shipping cost: this will be added to the product list price.

To set the required days for shipping:

  • open the Pre-Sales window and click the Settings button;
  • choose the Shipping tab;
  • set the Days to prepare shipping (choose from the drop down menu).
Check "From catalog" box if you want to import the days required for shipping from the catalog.

No, it's not possible.

What you set via SellRapido (called "Days to prepare shipping") it's the "Domestic handling time", that is the product packaging time (always displayed at the bottom of the shipping). eBay adds to this a variable time depending on the method chosen. The result is the estimated shipping time.

In Shipping tab, enter in "Add.item fee" the additional cost you want to apply in the event that the buyer purchases more than one item.

Leave 0.00 to not apply extra costs.

Yes.

In Shipping tab, check Shipping costs included in Price box to include the shipping costs into the products price.

For Amazon this option is already selected, and unchangeable

To allow shipments also to foreign countries, check the International ship. box.

Click then on the button Set Destinations to open a window where you can select the countries you want to allow the dispatch of products you sell, and exclude other countries from shipping.

In Set Destinations tab you can select the foreign countries in which you can dispatch.

However, you can see that Spain is not among the countries to be selected (as France, Germany, USA, etc.).

For Spain, you have to exclude from destinations all other European countries except, of course, Spain.

In "Main Shipping Method", the Set Destinations button is always enabled even if it is not an international method.

Clicking the button, it will open the window with destinations where only Exclusions are enabled.

This way if you ship only in your country it is possible to exclude tall other destinations, as explicitly asked by eBay.

In Prices tab, use the Add marketplace feed option.

The marketplace fees will be added to the final price of the products, according to the marketplace categories set.

  • More information on eBay fees can be found on the eBay website of your country.

Note: you need to log in to Amazon to open the link above.

For the management of VAT charging on the price of products published on foreign Marketplaces, it is advisable to seek advice from your business consultant.

In Payment tab choose the payment methods that will be available to the buyer.

  • If you want to enable Cash on delivery, enter the cost in "Cash on delivery" box.
  • If you want enable the payment via Paypal, enter your Paypal E-mail
  • Enter the instructions for payment (optional).

Note: on the Amazon marketplace, payment methods cannot be set, since it is only possible to pay by credit card.

In Quantity Management tab you can set the quantity that will be published for the products.

You can manage this data in four modes:

  • quantity imported from the catalog
  • set a FIXED quantity: enter in the box the quantity displayed
  • set a RANDOM quantity: will be published in a random amount between the two numbers entered in the boxes
  • DO NOT PUBLISH QUANTITY

Yes, in Fields Publication tab you can manage how the product information will be updated and how the title will be published.

Choose which fields update, selecting from the list. This setting is useful to lighten the application work when updating catalog's data.

Yes, in Fields Publication tab you can manage how the title will be published and how the product information will be updated.

You can make several changes to the title format, at the top of this window:

  • change fields order (for example, placing the product brand or code before the title); to do this, select from the drop-down menu the fields to include in the title and click the << button
  • place a fixed text before or after the title, simply by typing it in the relevant boxes
  • publish the title in capital letters

In Exclusions tab you can define filters by Shop Category, Brand, SKU, etc. in order to exclude certain products from the publication on the marketplace.

Products imported from the catalog that match exclusion rules will not be published. To create a new rule, use the Add button. Then choose the categories, a range of prices or weight, or a particular SKU (in this case, enter the code in "SKU" box).

For every product will be applied the first rule matching the criteria.

In Other tab, the entry Shop SKU prefix allows you to enter a prefix that will be put before the SKU (code) of the catalog products.

The prefix cannot be changed if there are already active listings on the marketplace.

For default catalogs it will be set automatically (with the option to change it).

Working on two catalogs with the same SKU prefix, you will receive this error.

In this case you must change the SKU prefix of one of the catalogs before publish your listings.

In Other tab:

Number of days required for object return: specify the number of days needed for the objects return by choosing it from the drop-down menu.
On Ebay the return option must ALWAYS be available.

Return instructions: type in the box the instructions for the return; these will overwrite anything set in "My eBay".

In Other tab, Item location, you can write the location and the country from where the products are shipped.

Using Upload from eBay exchange file button (Settings->Other) you can associate the codes of listing already published on the eBay Store to the catalog products handled from SellRapido; this way the system will consider those products already published.

The Amazon logistics option can be activated in:

Catalog Settings -> Quantity management
You find the Use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) option

Before you check this box, you must have subscribed to this Amazon service and be sure it is active.

The option applies to ALL products in the catalog. So to handle only a few products in the logistics it is necessary to create a separate catalog containing only those products.

After activating the logistics option, to turn it off you need to uncheck the option and set ALL products in To Update status.

In this case you need to perform the procedure of inventory alignment.

The Inventory Alignment function allows you to upload the marketplace inventory file, in order to align SellRapido active listings to those already publishede on the marketplace.

The functionality can be activated in Catalog Settings -> Other tab
The procedure is different for each marketplace.

See Marketplace Inventory Alignment help.

In Catalog Settings -> Automatisms use the option "Set sold out products as quantity=0....." to publish anyway products with zero quantity on the marketplace; this will allow you to maintain relevance of the ads.

To use this feature on eBay, first login to your eBay account and follow the instructions at the link http://www2.ebay.com/aw/it/201410240957352.html.

When this flag is on, the product that need to be closed will always be set as "To update" (unless closure is not commanded manually).

Settings: Shop and marketplace categories

In Caegories Map tab you can view and edit your store/catalog categories, and assign to each a marketplace category.

On the left side of the grid store categories are showed (up to 3 levels).

On the right side, clicking on the various buttons (...), you must set the corresponding marketplace categories choosing from the list.

To each category corresponds an Id and marketplace commissions percentage, verifiable in the box below the grid.
The marketplace commission will be applied in the product prices calculation, so you should be careful and properly set the marketplace categories.

Click OK to confirm and save the data.

For default lists the categories are already mapped, and data can be downloaded from our server every time you import the catalog.

However, to have more control over catalog's category, we recommend to set them independently.

1) When setting marketplace categories, you can assign the same category value on multiple rows, using the options in the drop-down menu on the top of the window.
For example: set the same marketplace categories for all rows that have the same category 3 as the selected row.
Click Run to apply the change.

2) Using Automatic completion function, you can assign the same store or marketplace category to all categories not yet mapped, using those already mapped.
Choose the parameter to be used for assignments and what to assign.
Click Ok to apply the change.

The yellow cells stand for categories no longer in the catalog. You can remove them with the "Delete categories not in catalog" button.

Since some marketplaces limits the number of store categories that you can publish (e.g. 300 categories on eBay), it is unwise to publish all of the catalog categories to the last level.

In Settings->Categories Map you can choose how many levels of store categories you want to publish on Ebay.

We recommend to not set more than 2 levels.

You can group the catalog categories using Your category 1 field (in Settings->Categories Map tab).
Enter (typing) more generic category names, for example "Informatics", grouping more catalog's first level categories that belong to that type of goods.

If errors occur during the execution of one or more activities, the Activity Monitor button will show a red sign.

The activity log, which can be accessed via the appropriate button, allows you to check the history of the activities performed by the system.

You can access to the log also from the activity log panel (clicking on "…" buttons you find in Log column): it will open a text file showing the history of operations performed for that specific activity and any errors that occurred.

By checking the option that you can find in:
– SellRapido home panel, Settings button
Pre-Sales tab
Suspend listings publication/update/closing.

Using "Suspend/resume publication" button that you can find in:
More functions->Catalogs
– double click on the catalog
– select the marketplace where you want to suspend publication
- to resume the publication, use the same button.

Check, in Catalogs Management window, that the catalog is in PROCESS HERE= YES status.

If it is in PROCESS HERE= NO status, it means that you connected to SellRapido from a different workstation, and each catalog can only be processed on one machine.
You need to press the button in the Process here column (now set to NO).

This way, it will change to YES and the catalog will be processed on that workstation.

Note: this problem can occur even if you connect to the PC an external hard disk/SD card, recognized as "workstations".

There is a way to exclude from the import products that have a quantity lowest than a certain number, by applying a filter.

Select the catalog, click the Settings button and then choose Import filters.
Add a rule (Add button) entering the minimum quantity that a product must have.

For exclusions, the Import box (on the left of the window) should NOT be ticked.

Products that do not fall under this rule will be excluded and will not be imported in SellRapido.

the product SKU is added to the title if you have not changed the default setting in Settings -> Fields Publication; to make sure that the title of the product is not preceded by the SKU code, you must clear what is contained in Title format (default value is "[#sku#] [#title#]") and then update all the listings already published:

  • in Field Publication tab, tick Title and that field will be updated;
  • click Ok;
  • use the menu Set as/Set as TO UPDATE/The whole catalog (at the bottom left of the Pre-Sales window), and confirm;
  • all products of the catalog will be put in To Update status and Queued.

See Update eBay listing fields help for more information.

Update and closing of listings

To manually update listings, if quantity, price or other fields have been changed in the catalog:

  • select the products that you want to update by checking the appropriate box;
  • use the menu Set as/Set as … (choose status)/Only selected rows.

This way, the updates will be Queued and then processed at the next task execution.

To change the status of a whole catalog, select from the menu Set as/Set as … (choose status)/The whole catalog.

Choose the marketplace, checking the Run immediately box to immediately change the product/catalog status.

To update data of listings already published on eBay, after changing Settings:

  • in Settings' Fields Publication tab, select the fields you want to update in Field changed in update box. Click Ok to confirm;
  • in Pre-Sales grid, click on the bottom menu Set as/Set as TO UPDATE/The whole catalog;
  • Check the option Run immediately to immediately queue the updates.

All catalog products will be put in To Update status and Queued..

At the next task execution, the changes will be applied.

See Update eBay listing fields help for more information.

To close a catalog, from the Pre-Sales panel choose from the menu Set as/Set as TO CLOSE/The whole catalog.

Choose the marketplace, checking the Run immediately box to immediately close all listings.

This way, the closing will be Queued and then processed at the next task execution.

If you set automatic updates (see Catalogs Automatisms help) we recommend to disable them, before closing the catalog. This way, the listings will not be re-published at the next automatisms execution.

Note: check to have chosen the correct catalog from the menu on the top of the Pre-Sales window.

To close all Listings and then remove the catalog from SellRapido:

  • disable all automatisms set (More functions -> Catalogs -> double click on the catalog -> Automatisms -> remove ALL checkmarks);
  • close all listings (in Pre-Sales panel choose the catalog and use the menu Set as/Set as TO CLOSE/The whole catalog);
  • listings will be queued for closing and then closed;
  • once all listings have been closed, delete the catalog (More functions->Catalogs Delete catalog button).

The Inventory Alignment function allows you to upload the marketplace inventory file, in order to align SellRapido active listings to those already publishede on the marketplace.

The functionality can be activated in Catalog Settings -> Other tab.

The procedure is different for each marketplace: see Marketplace Inventory Alignment help.

Yes.

To schedule automatic updating of the catalogs, open the Catalog management window, select the catalog and click the Settings button.
Choose Automatisms in order to open the window where you can set the automatic updates.

Select the actions to be performed automatically, days and hours of the updates. You can set up to eight executions.

To publish new products added to the catalog, close products no longer in the catalog and update all listings, check all 3 options.

SellRapido must be WORKING at the set hours, this way these operations will be performed automatically.
Click Ok to confirm.

Errors returned from the marketplace:

Connection Error: check if your PC is connected to Internet.

If a product has been published with an image size of less than 500 pixels, then the next update will fail, and you will receive the error:
"Buyers love large photos that clearly show the item, so please upload high-resolution photo."
In this case it is necessary to connect to the products images of at least 500 pixels on one side.

You need to change
image url
size

You can't change only the size, eBay will not notice the update if the url does not change.

Note: quantities, prices and other product information will not be updated if you receive this error.

This error occurs when shipping costs are not set.

A difficulty in detecting the solution may occur if you set more than one shipping method (es: shipping m. 1, 2, 3) and you have chosen to include shipping costs in price.

This option is only available for the main shipping method, so be sure that in additional shipping method the cost (and method) is always valued.

A year later, eBay requires the update of SellRapido terms of use.

To reset the eBay token, if expired or if you have changed the login password:

  • in General Settings, open the Marketplace Credentials tab
  • select the eBay credential, and click the Edit button
  • tick Password reset option, then Ok: once you have logged in eBay, confirm selecting "I agree" in the authorization screen

See Error validating eBay Token help.

If you try to publish a listing on a foreign eBay marketplace, you have to set a valid shipping method: typically those that contain "International" in the description.

One of the enabled shipping methods ("Enable this shipping method" checked) has not been set.

The item location has not been set. The "Item location" setting can be found in Settings' "Other" tab.

When this error occurs, you must associate marketplace categories with catalog categories in Settings -> Categories Map.

See Marketplace category id is required help for more information.

Since eBay limits the number of store categories that you can publish to 300, it is unwise to publish all of the catalog categories to the last level.

Change the setting in Settings -> Categories Map; We recommend you not to set more than 2 levels.

If you reach the limit of store categories, products may be published under "Everything else" category; then you need to "empty" the categories archive directly on eBay, following these steps:

  • on My Ebay empty all store categories ("Account"->"Manage my Shop"-> on the left side of the page click the link Shop Categories, on this page select all categories and delete them);
  • open the Categories Map Management, and click the "Have you deleted YOUR SHOP Categories...." button;
  • in Settings, Fields Publication tab, select Shop categories field, so that field will be updated;
  • launch an update of all the already published listings, so that they will move in the correct store category (Set as-> TO UPDATE-> The whole catalog)

See You reached the maximum limit of 300 eBay store categories help.

As written in the error, the description/template of the product you tried to publish on eBay must not contain javascript.

Then you must change the description or template.

As written in the error (this is the fullerror text):

"You must accept the International Selling Agreement before you can list this item on a site other than where you registered or with international shipping options. If you prefer not to accept this agreement, you will need to list only where you registered and choose local postage options in this tool before resubmitting your listing."

You must agree to the international sales terms.

The error occurs because you have set international shipping without having first accepted the agreement.

As written in the error, the same shipping method has been set more than once.

A shipping method can be set only once, also in specific settings (for example "Express courier" can be set only in one method, not in "Main Shipping Method″ and "Shipping M 2″ at the same time).

This is an error that occurs in the process of product UPDATE.

In this case you need to:
Settings -> Fields Publication
and uncheck the Brand from the fields changed in update.

When this error occurs the system is almost certainly trying to create a shop category that eBay considers as already existing. This is caused by the presence of characters in the category name that eBay cannot detect.

For example

TV & VIDEO

& is not detected by eBay that considers TV & VIDEO = TV VIDEO.

To correct this problem, go to "My eBay" and look for the category that appears equal to the store category of the product in error, then enter the name directly in the category map, "Your category" column.

For example, if the product error reports "TV & Video" and on eBay you find "TV VIDEO", in "Your category" (Settings -> Categories Map) you need to write "TV VIDEO"

eBay does not allow to publish the same product in different categories or on two different user account. eBay rules about duplicates are detailed in this page:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-multi.html

The criterion by which eBay considers two different listings (so NOT duplicate) may leave room for different interpretations: you can speak generically of "essential differences" in title, price, picture, description without clarifying whether these differences have all to be present or only partially. It is also not clear what is meant by "essential difference".

Theoretically, you can sell the same item by changing the conditions (new and used).

Receive duplicate listings notifications can cause, over time, the account suspension, especially if notices are for the same products. Does not matter if it is 1 listing on 100.000, or 1 on 10, it is sufficient that the reporting occur again.

So we recommend to:

- DO NOT publish the same products on separate eBay accounts unless you had specific guarantees from eBay

- always place the SKU before the product title. This DO NOT automatically prevents duplications of the same products from different catalogs, but significantly reduces the likelihood that the listings are considered duplicate

- make sure that each catalog uses a different SKU prefix (Settings -> Other)

- in case of duplicate reporting is ESSENTIAL to make sure that you can find the code of the published listing in SellRapido. If the code is different, replace it with the correct one.

For each product reported as duplicate you need to:

1. search the product in SellRapido
2. copy the listing code/Item ID of the product that has not been removed from eBay and past it into SellRapido "Listing Code"

3. If the product does not exist in SellRapido then you have to manually close your listing on "My eBay"

It is important to perform this operation for each listing.

eBay asks sellers to enter a "product-id" for products belonging to certain categories.

The product-id is managed by SellRapido sending the EAN code.

You must enable the "EAN" option in eBay Settings -> Fields Publication.

To remove the EAN you must close and re-publish the listing.

Errors returned from the marketplace:

The Categories Map allows SellRapido to calculate the fees to add to the price, but the actual charges applied by Amazon may differ, because of how the product is encoded in Amazon archives. Such encoding is NOT decided by SellRapido.

To check the fees you can import this report.

In Catalog Settings -> Other you can find the "Upload and check AMAZON fees" button, this allows you to upload the Amazon fees report file, and generate a CSV report to detect inconsistencies with the fees set in SellRapido.

To request this report:
– login into your Amazon Seller Central account;
Inventory -> Inventory Reports;
– from the drop-down menu choose Referral Fee Preview Report;
– click on the Request Report button, then wait for the file to be generated.

See Amazon: Fee Report help for more informations.

To correct the duplicated ASIN error, which could occur by publishing catalogs on Amazon, you must associate the correct ASIN, following the steps below.

This system will let you publish more products on Amazon!

Open the error clicking on the Error field: clicking on the displayed codes, the web pages of the associated products will be opened, in order to identify the correct one and associate its ASIN in SellRapido. This code must be entered in the product details, in two ways:
– in the ASIN field (display the column in the grid, and paste the code in the field);
– with a double-click on the product line the details page will open. Enter the ASIN code in the field and click OK to confirm.

See Amazon: ASIN Assignment help for more informations.

As written in the error, the product that you tried publishing on Amazon does not exist.

You must make the first loading by hand, and then update price and quantity (see Amazon: New Products Publication help.

The EAN code is not valid.

the EAN has to be of 13 characters: the 13th is the checksum character.

You can check/calculate the EAN code through the tool available at this link.

For this problem the only solution is to replace the EAN code of the product, entering the correct one. This way, the offer will be published on Amazon.
