To work on Ebay with SellRapido you must register a Ebay Shop. In the absence of this requirement, or if this requirement is changed, SellRapido will not update the eBay inventory.

To sell on Amazon with SellRapido services you need to register as a Professional seller.

To upgrade your Amazon account to Professional, sign in to Amazon, then use the menu Settings – Account info (or click on this link and in Your Services click on Manage / Upgrade button, then follow the instructions.

You can publish many lists you want on Amazon, Ebay, Eprice, etc.

To add and publish a catalog of a supplier, on the marketplaces, go to the Products panel, in the Pre Sales menu.

Open the Choose Catalog menu and choose Add catalog.

After you add your catalog to SellRapido, in the wizard you will be prompted to define a Field map.

Select in Destination Field records the fields to link, choosing from the drop down menu.

To open the settings panel, from the main Pre-Sales window.

Open the Choose Catalog menu and select the products list, then click on Settings.

In this window, click the button 

A window will open where several settings tabs will be shown.

In the Prices tab you can manage different settings related to the products’ price to be published on the marketplace, such as the VAT , marketplace commissions, and price markups.

The options that can be activated from this panel are:

 Add VAT to the price: indicate the VAT percentage, if applicable.

 Add Marketplace Commissions: these commissions are calculated based on the marketplace categories. To add the VAT to these commissions, check the relevant box.

 Add Paypal Commissions: in case you have activated payments through Paypal it’s strongly advised to check this option to add thecommission to the price.

 Rounding: use this option to round off prices to decimal places / units.

– Accept Offers: check this field to allow the buyer to make offers to purchase. Ebay will send an e-mail to the seller for each offer made.

 Pricing Mark-up %: insert a percentage mark-up to add to the products in the catalog. To apply a percentage discount, enter a percentage with a negative sign (eg “-5.00”).

– Fixed Price mark-up: insert a fixed mark-up to be added to the list price. To apply a fixed discount, enter an amount with a negative sign (eg “-5.00”).

To verify the products’ final prices that will be uploaded on the marketplace (once connected and activated the catalog on a marketplace):

– Open the Choose catalog menu and select the catalog.

– Enter the product’s details (double click on the product line).

– Go to the Marketplace tab, select the marketplace on which to simulate the price and click the Price Simulation.

A window will open showing the calculations made, the product’s final price and other useful information.

Use the box at the bottom of the window to manage prices by categories or by price or weight ranges.

Click New to create a new rule.

Set the conditions, and then click the button : a window will open where to set the price changes.
For each product in the catalog, the first rule will be applied that matches the set criteria (to change their order, drag them up or down).

The category setting will only be possible if the published catalog supports the category field.

Use the box at the bottom of the window to manage prices by categories or by price or weight ranges.

Click New to create a new rule.

Set the conditions, and then click the button : a window will open where to set the price changes.
For each product in the catalog, the first rule will be applied that matches the set criteria (to change their order, drag them up or down).

There is not a fixed rule. Each seller choose their own markup percentage. We recommend you to take as a reference:

  • for Amazon, the “best price” column in Amazon inventory, which lists the best offers on Amazon, make your considerations, then eventually change the price mark-ups;
  • fo Ebay, check the prices of similar products published by other sellers.

In the Shippings tab you can manage different shipping costs and delivery days to be shown on the marketplace for your published products.

You can set different shipping methods (up to 5). For each method to be active and visible on the marketplace, check the Shipping 23, etc. box.

The various options that can be activated from this panel are shown below:

– Shipping costs taken from the catalog: will be imported from the catalog, if any are listed

– Shipping fees: enter the shipping costs, if you tick the box As in Catalog, shipping prices will be taken from it (IF LISTED)

– Additional fees: list here any additional fee you want to add to the shipping prices (this field is set to 0 by default)

– Shipping days: Shows the days needed to prepare and send the order

– Prices include VAT: Shipping prices include VAT

– Prices include shipping prices: tick this box if you want the shipping prices to be included in the product’s price

– Method: choose from the drop-down menu the shipment method (Courier, Experss Delivery, Post, etc.).

To set the required days for shipping:

– open the Pre-Sales window and click the Settings button;

– choose the Shippings tab;

– set the Order processing time (choose from the drop down menu).

Check “As in catalog” box if you want to import the days required for shipping from the catalog.

No, it’s not possible.

What you set in SellRapido (called “Order processing time”) it’s the “Domestic handling time”, that is the product packaging time (always displayed at the bottom of the shipping). eBay adds to this a variable time depending on the method chosen. The result is the estimated shipping time.

In Shipping tab, enter in “Additional Fees” the additional cost you want to apply in the event that the buyer purchases more than one item.

Leave 0.00 to not apply extra costs.


In Shipping tab, check Prices including Shipping Fees box to include the shipping costs into the products price.

For Amazon this option is already selected, and unchangeable

To allow shipments also to foreign countries, use the appropriate function: click on the button Set Geographic Areas to open a window where you can select the countries you want to allow the dispatch of products you sell, and exclude other countries from shipping.
– In the Inclusions tab, select the places (countries or areas) where you want to ship your products;
– in the Exclusions tab, select the places (countries or areas) where you DON’T want to ship your products.

In Prices tab, use the Add marketplace fees option.

The marketplace fees will be added to the final price of the products, according to the marketplace categories set.

On the Payments tab, select the available payment methods for the buyer by checking them in the list.

– If you choose to pay with Paypal, enter the e-mail address .

– Enter the payment instructions (optional).

– Check the Immediate payment box to force the buyer to pay immediately (only valid if you select PayPal as the only payment method).

In the Quantities tab you can set the quantities of products that will be displayed on the marketplace.

It is possible to manage this data in 4 different ways (choose Method from the drop-down menu):

– import quantities from the list;

– set a FIXED quantity: enter the quantity to be displayed in the box. In the example, for all published products the shown quantity will be 5;

– set a RANDOM quantity: a random quantity will be published between the two numbers inserted in the two panels.

– Do not publish the quantity (this option is only available for eBay, and only for new products to be uploaded).

There’s also an optional setting, it is possible to set a maximum quantity to publish (Maximum quantity).

Yes, in Title tab you can make several changes to the title format:

– add one or more fields to the products title; to do so select the fields from the Fields dropdown menu and click the Insert button. In the example the title will be the product’s SKU followed by the title;

– publish the first letter of the title in capital letters.

The Filters tab is used to decide what to publish by applying Inclusion or Exclusion filters based on various parameters:
Shop category
Brand name
SKU code
EAN code
Price range
Min / Max Qty
Weight range

The products in the catalog that match the Inclusion Rules will be published.

The products in the catalog list that match the Exclusion Rules will NOT be published.

To create a new rule, use the Add button.

In the Returns tab, you can manage the return policy.

– Return Time: specify the maximum number of days to return the items, selecting it from the drop down menu.
For Ebay, the return must ALWAYS be available.
In this case we set 14 days.

– Return policy: enter the return instructions in the box; these will overwrite those eventually set to “My Ebay”.

– Location: indicate the place from which the objects will be sent (also selecting the country from the drop-down menu).

In the Returns tab, Location: indicate the place from which the objects will be sent (also selecting the country from the drop-down menu).

In the General tab check the Keep Relevance option to send products (out of stock) to the marketplace with zero quantity instead of closing the listings; this will allow us to maintain the relevance of the adverts.
To use this feature on eBay, log in to your eBay account first and follow the instructions at

When this flag is on, the product that need to be closed will always be set as “To update” (unless closure is not commanded manually).

In the Categories tab, you can view and edit the shop / catalog categories, and assign each one of them a marketplace category.

On the left side of the grid the list categories are displayed (up to 3 levels).

On the right hand side, by clicking on the various keys , it’s necessary to set the corresponding marketplace categories by choosing them from the list.

Each category corresponds to a percentage of marketplace fees, you can check those % in the % Sale Fee column.

You have to pay close attention and set the marketplace categories correctly, because those percentages will be applied on the product’s final price.

Click  to set the chosen category (in our example, the “Equipment” category will be used).

The marketplace category will be associated with the store category.

When setting up the marketplace categories, you can associate the same category value with multiple lines.
1) select multiple lines of categories by ticking the relative box
2) click  on one of the selected lines
3) set the category by choosing it from the tree
4) give the OK and choose “Yes” when confirmation is requested.

The same marketplace category will be set in all selected rows.

The yellow cells stand for categories no longer in the catalog.

Since eBay limits the number of shop categories that can be published at 300, we do not recommend to set all the categories of the catalog up to the last level.

set First Level (“Shop categories“), confirm the settings with Confirm.

You can group the catalog categories using Shop category 1 field (in Settings->Categories tab).
Enter (typing) more generic category names, for example “Informatics”, grouping more catalog’s first level categories that belong to that type of goods.

In the Template tab of SellRapido Settings, you can set a layout for your listings, containing all products informations.

– Enter the template you want to use in the box.

– A Standard Template is already loaded in the program. To use that, select it from the drop-down menu and click Load Template.

Products publication on marketplaces

Update and closing of listings

To filter the products in SellRapido, use the filter placed on the left side of the Pre-Sale panel.

Click Search after typing the search text (title, SKU, brand, categories will be checked).

To search for products published and active on the marketplace, check the box Active listings only (placed over the Search button).


Select the products for which you want to export data, and click Export.

A window will open, where you can set:

  • fields to export (the field name appears in the Field Name column), where you can set a Lenght, in the case in which the text in the field is of greater length, it will be truncated; otherwise, the remaining space will be occupied by a filler character (that you can set in the Filler column). This feature is needed for fixed-width tracks.
  • the filling character can be placed to the left or right of the field value (select the direction in the Filling direction column).
  • in Default value field you can set the value that will be exported in case the field is empty or equal to zero (for numeric fields).
  • the Record separator
  • whether to export, or not, the column headings
  • the export file nameNote: the default exported file format is the text format (.txt). You can change this extension to export the file in different formats (.xls , .csv , etc.).

Click Ok to export the file.

Once completed, the folder where the file was saved will be opened.

Just enter a filter in the Filters tab that includes the entire catalog (Include Everything).

It is possible to add products to a price list created by following the Manual Data Entry wizard.

The periodic update can be set from the catalog wizard (which can be re-executed after the first time). In the “Schedule” box, set how often to perform an update, and the time from which to start.

The Errors report shows the number of listings with errors.

By selecting the credential to be verified, and clicking on the number of errors, the error report page will open, listing the products in error and the cause of the error.

Click on the “Insertion report” to check the changes of the counters, the indicator at the top left of the page warns if there are any uploads in progress.

In Pre-Sale, enter the price list (select it from the drop-down menu).

Open “Settings”, and on the marketplace to be deactivated click on the “Status” button: this will change from “Active” to “Disabled”.

There is a way not to publish products that are less than a certain number, by applying a filter.

Enter the List Settings, and then choose Filters.

Add the rule (Add button) by entering the minimum quantity that a product must have.

Products that do not fall under this rule will be excluded, and will not be published.

The listings update cannot be done directly by hand, you must first work on the inclusion/exclusion filters (Settings-> Filters).

To close all catalog’s listings, use the Exclusion Filters.

In the Exclusions tab, use the  Exclude Everything button: a filter will automatically be added to exclude the entire catalog.

Follow these steps.

In Pre-Sales, enter the price list to be removed (select it from the drop-down menu).

Open “Settings”, insert a filter that excludes all products and wait for closure.

Then click the “Delete” button, and confirm to remove the price list from that marketplace.

When this error occurs, you must associate marketplace categories with catalog categories in Settings -> Categories.

There cannot be two store categories with the same name, even if they belong to trees of different categories.

It is therefore necessary to remap all the categories so that they have a unique name on eBay. For example

NOTES: each category name must be a maximum of 35 characters long, commercial “&” are not allowed, punctuation marks are considered as spaces.

It means that the catalog has categories that contain symbols that are not accepted by Ebay (for example “&”), so it returns an error in the publication on Ebay.

It is therefore necessary to enter Settings -> Categories and remap all the categories so that they have a name that does not contain symbols.

You need to do this for ALL the catalog categories that contain &; in fact it is enough that only one category contains that symbol in the name to return an error when publishing the whole catalog.

As indicated in the error, the limit of store categories on Ebay has been reached

Since eBay limits the number of store categories that can be published to 300, you need to:
– “empty” the category archive directly from eBay
– set only 1 category level for the publication

Error 21919152: Shipping policy is required. – Shipping policy is required

if at least one of these 3 errors appears, it means that you have selected “Sales Rules” added to Ebay for shipping, payment or returns.
Rules are required for Shipping, Payment and Returns (not just 1 or 2 of 3)

In this case you must:
– use the sales rules for all 3 sections (Shipping, Payment and Returns)
– remove the sales rules from the sections in which they were set.

Some payment methods not accepted by Ebay have been added.

We advise you to start by selecting only Paypal, then possibly add the other methods a little at a time (until the precise error is identified)

a text too long has been set in “The object will be delivered from…”
this text can have a maximum of 45 characters.

Probably the shipping days are taken from the price list, but the data taken from the price list are not accepted by Ebay.

Then in Settings-> Shipping you need to set the days by selecting the number of days from the “Order processing time”.

As written in the error (this is the fullerror text):

“You must accept the International Selling Agreement before you can list this item on a site other than where you registered or with international shipping options. If you prefer not to accept this agreement, you will need to list only where you registered and choose local postage options in this tool before resubmitting your listing.”

You must agree to the international sales terms.

The error occurs because you have set international shipping without having first accepted the agreement.

As written in the error, the same shipping method has been set more than once.

A shipping method can be set only once, also in specific settings (for example “Express courier” can be set only in one method, not in “Main Shipping Method″ and “Shipping M 2″ at the same time).

The Ebay token has expired.

To update the authorization for the use of SellRapido
– in the Settings, enter the Marketplace Credentials panel;
– select the Ebay credential, and click the Edit Credential button;

– click Save: the eBay page will open to give the authorization to use the program.

The item location has not been set. The “Item location” setting can be found in Settings’ “Returns” tab.

The error occurs on eBay when trying to create a category within the “Other” category which is a system category.

It is NOT possible to create eBay store categories within the “Other” category.

Error 5500 The product-id you provided (…) matches to multiple Amazon products. Please select the most relevant Amazon Standard Id (ASIN) and provide it in the ASIN-Hint field. The matching Amazon Standard Id’s are : (…)

To correct the duplicated ASIN error, which could occur by publishing catalogs on Amazon, you must associate the correct ASIN, following the steps below.
This system will let you publish more products on Amazon!
In the error, the ASIN codes associated with the product are proposed.
You have to check the correct one, and insert it in the product details:
– double click on the product line
– the details page will open. Enter the ASIN code in the related field and click OK to confirm.

Error 5501 We did not find any products on Amazon using the product-id (…) provided by you. If you already know the Amazon Standard Id (ASIN), please provide it in the product-id field and set the product-id-type as ASIN.

As written in the error, the product that you tried publishing on Amazon does not exist.

Error 8058 The following attributes are missing for SKU: [1_(…)]: [item_name].For more details, see

Sellrapido sends the offer to Amazon, but the product sheet (although it exists) is incomplete or incorrect.

In this case, the title is missing, so the offer is not loaded with error 8058.
It is therefore an error concerning the product and as a side effect it prevents the offer from loading.

Error 8575 We have temporarily removed your ability to submit listings (creating new offers or new ASINs) because an unusually high number of listings have been created from your account. 

The error is returned directly from Amazon, meaning that the sending of advertisements has been temporarily blocked, given the increase in the number of attempted uploads.

In these cases:

  • contact Amazon sellers support
  • communicate that you are using an automated software: Sellrapido (forward the error, if required)
  • the software takes care of sending and accurately updating the adverts

Error 13013 We’re unable to complete your request because this SKU is not in the Amazon catalog. If this was a deleted SKU, wait 24 hours before resubmitting it. If you tried to add this SKU to the Amazon catalog before, check your data and correct any errors before resubmitting.

This error occurs when Amazon, on its own initiative, has removed a previously inserted offer, typically due to cross-checks between EAN and description that are not guaranteed to refer to the desired product.

Against this error Sellrapido behaves as if the advertisement had been closed and will try to republish it at the next update.

It is possible that at this point an error “5500” (ambiguity on the product) occurs, but in this way the alignment between Amazon and Sellrapido is maintained.

This error is almost always related to  limitations problems to the Amazon account.

Offers are published on Amazon based on the EAN code in the price list.

However, a check is also made on the title (the catalog title and the title of the Amazon product sheet must match).

However, there are cases in which an offer is loaded for a product that matches only for the EAN and not for the title:

The card of each Amazon product can have one or more “contributors” that have more or less relevance in the management of the content of the card itself.

Contributors of a higher level are for example the subjects registered as “Brand Owner” or “Amazon Retail”. When the title has been entered by one of these top “contributors” then the probability of a credit check on the title is very high, while in cases where it is a simple seller to enter the title it is not said that this control is carried out . When the check skips, it is possible that the anomaly in question occurs

You must associate marketplace categories with catalog categories in Settings -> Categories.

The threshold of exhausted products has value that’s “too low”.
To open this setting:

– Open the Choose Catalog menu and select the catalog.
Settings button.
– Use the Configure Catalog button to open the list configuration screen.

The listings are not closed on the marketplace if the “relevance” flag is active
